Car
If you're driving, head towards Manga Village from Rawalpindi. You can take the N-5 National Highway and then turn onto the M-1 Motorway towards Islamabad. Once you reach the Islamabad Toll Plaza, continue on the M-1 for about 10 km until you see the signs for Manga Village. Follow the signs and local roads leading to Mankiala. The stupa is located about 5 km from the center of the village.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transport, board a bus or van from Rawalpindi to Manga Village. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and costs around PKR 100-150. Once you arrive in Manga Village, you can hire a local rickshaw or taxi to take you the remaining 5 km to Mankiala Stupa. The rickshaw fare should be between PKR 200-300.
Walking
If you find yourself in the vicinity of Manga Village, walking to Mankiala Stupa is a pleasant option. The walk is about 5 km and takes approximately 1 hour. Follow the main road leading out of the village, and look for signposts directing you towards the stupa. Wear comfortable shoes and keep hydrated.
