Walking
If you are in Skardu city center, start at the main bazaar area. Head north towards the Skardu Fort. Once you reach the fort, continue walking straight until you see a sign for Hameed Garh Road. Turn right onto Hameed Garh Road. Walk along this road for about 15 minutes. You will pass several local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the PTDC (Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation) office on your left. The Italian K2 Museum is located just a short distance past the PTDC, on your left side at Hameed Garh Kargrong.

Rickshaw
From any point in Skardu, you can hire a local rickshaw. Simply tell the driver 'Hameed Garh Road near PTDC'. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes depending on traffic. The rickshaw will drop you off directly outside the Italian K2 Museum, which is located near the PTDC office.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Skardu. Start from the main bazaar and head towards Skardu Fort. After passing the fort, continue straight until you reach a junction. Take a right onto Hameed Garh Road. Follow this road for about 15-20 minutes. The museum will be on your left, just after the PTDC office.
