Trekking
From Skardu city, head towards the Skardu bazaar area. You can start your trek from the main square in the bazaar. Follow the main road leading out of Skardu towards the Shigar Valley. After approximately 1-2 hours of trekking, you will reach the Shigar River. Cross the river using the wooden bridge. Continue trekking along the riverbank for another hour until you see the signs for Soq Valley. Follow these signs which will lead you through a beautiful landscape to the entrance of Soq Valley.

From Skardu, you can hire a local jeep or motorbike to take you to Soq Valley. Head to the local transport station which is located near the Skardu bazaar. Negotiate a ride to Soq Valley, which should take about 30-40 minutes. The drivers are familiar with the area and will take you directly to the entrance of the valley. Make sure to agree on the return time with the driver as well.
