Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Mingora, Swat. Take the Mingora-Kalam Road (N-95) and drive towards Kalam. After approximately 30 km, you'll reach Madyan. From Madyan, continue towards Upper Bishgram, following the signs and the road that leads upwards. The road will eventually fork; take the left fork which leads to Bishigram Lake. After about 12 km, you will arrive at Bishigram Lake. Be cautious as the road can be narrow and winding, and ensure your vehicle is capable of handling rough terrain.

Public Transportation
To reach Bishigram Lake via public transport, take a bus from Mingora to Kalam. Buses leave frequently throughout the day, and the journey takes around 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Once in Kalam, hire a local taxi or a jeep to take you to Madyan. The taxi ride to Madyan will cost you around 500-1000 PKR. Upon reaching Madyan, you can again hire a jeep or a local taxi to take you to Upper Bishgram. This last leg of the journey could cost you another 1000-1500 PKR. The jeep ride will take about 30-45 minutes.

For adventurous travelers, a hiking option is to trek from Madyan to Bishigram Lake. Start early in the morning to ensure you have enough daylight. The trek is around 12 km and will take approximately 4-5 hours. The trail can be steep and challenging in some areas, so ensure you have proper hiking gear, sufficient water, and snacks for the journey. It's advisable to hire a local guide if you're unfamiliar with the area. Costs for a local guide can range from 1500 to 3000 PKR depending on negotiation.
