Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Mingora, the main city in Swat Valley. Take the Kalam Road (N-95) and drive towards Kalam. The distance is approximately 50 kilometers and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. As you approach Kalam, follow signs towards GHWP+CV4. The meadows are located a short drive from the Kalam town center. Ensure to check the road conditions, especially during the monsoon season.
Public Transportation
To reach Janshae Meadows via public transportation, catch a minibus or a coach from Mingora to Kalam. Buses depart frequently from Mingora's main bus station. The fare is generally around 200-300 PKR per person. Once you arrive in Kalam, you can hire a local taxi or a rickshaw to reach GHWP+CV4, which should cost about 300-500 PKR. Make sure to ask the driver to take you to the meadows.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Kalam, you can trek to Janshae Meadows. From the town center, head towards the main road leading out of Kalam, follow signs for GHWP+CV4. The trek can take about 1-2 hours depending on your pace and the route taken, and it will offer stunning views of the surrounding nature. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water with you.
