Getting There

Walking
From the center of Ngchesar, head south towards the main road. Continue walking straight until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left path that leads towards Ngardmau. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers, passing through lush vegetation and occasional local homes. Look for signs that indicate the direction to hiking areas. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach a small trail entrance on your right. This is the trailhead leading to Ngerchelchuus.

Hiking
Once you enter the trail, follow the marked path that winds through the forest. The trail is well-trodden, but be cautious of any loose rocks and roots. As you ascend, you will notice the landscape changing, with beautiful views of the surrounding areas. After approximately 30 minutes of hiking, you will arrive at a scenic overlook. From here, take a moment to enjoy the views, and then continue on the trail for another 10 minutes. Ngerchelchuus will come into view as you approach the final destination.
