Car
If you are traveling by car from Colon city center, head northwest on Avenida Bolivar towards Calle 9. Continue straight onto Avenida Central, and follow the signs for the Pan-American Highway (Interamericana). Merge onto the highway and continue for approximately 10 kilometers. Take the exit towards Agua Clara Locks Visitor Center, and follow the signs. There is a parking area available at the visitor center.
Public Transportation
To reach Agua Clara Locks Visitor Center by public transportation, start at the Colon bus terminal. Take a bus that is heading towards the Agua Clara Locks area. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Be sure to ask the driver to let you off at the Agua Clara Locks Visitor Center. From there, the center is a short walk away. Keep some change for the bus fare, which is usually around $1-2.
Taxi
Alternatively, you can take a taxi directly from any location in Colon to the Agua Clara Locks Visitor Center. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey; it should cost around $15-20 depending on your starting point. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of the visitor center.
