If you are driving, start from the center of Panama City. Head northwest on Avenida Balboa and continue onto Avenida de los Mártires. Merge onto Corredor Norte (toll road), then take the exit toward Vía Transístmica. Follow Vía Transístmica until you reach the intersection with Avenida 12 de Octubre. Turn left onto Avenida 12 de Octubre, then take the right onto Calle 56. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle 6. Turn left, and the Museo Afroantillano de Panamá will be on your right at address XF76+58R, M, Panamá. Be aware that there is a toll charge on Corredor Norte, typically around $0.75 to $1.50, depending on the distance traveled.

To use public transportation, start at a nearby bus terminal like Terminal de Transporte de Albrook. Take a bus heading to Panama City, specifically those that go along Vía Transístmica.
