Getting There

Boat
Start your journey at the main dock in Bocas Town. Purchase a ticket for a boat taxi heading towards the mainland or to the nearby island of Bastimentos. Once on board, enjoy the scenic ride for about 15-20 minutes, keeping an eye out for the lush greenery along the shore. Disembark at either the Isla Bastimentos dock or the mainland dock, both of which are common drop-off points for boat taxis.

Once you arrive at the Isla Bastimentos dock, follow the path leading away from the dock towards the village. You'll want to head towards the community of Old Bank. Take the main dirt road that runs through the village, which is lined with local shops and houses. Continue walking until you reach the end of the village, where the road starts to incline. At this point, you will be heading uphill towards Up in the Hill.

As you ascend, the path may become steeper and more rugged. Follow the signs indicating the way to Up in the Hill. The hike will take approximately 20-30 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
