If you're driving from Gamboa, head west on the Gamboa Road (also known as the Gamboa-Panama Highway) towards the Pan-American Highway. Continue straight for about 13 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Pan-American Highway. Turn left onto the Pan-American Highway heading towards Colon. After approximately 4 kilometers, take the exit to Portobelo. Follow the signs to Portobelo for about 10 kilometers. Once you arrive in Portobelo, look for signs directing you to the Fuerte de San Fernando, located at H86M+CV7. There is parking available near the fortress.
