Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Panama City. Head north on the Pan-American Highway (Interamericana) towards Colón. After about 18 km, take the exit towards Las Cumbres and follow the signs to Parque Nacional Soberanía. Continue on the main road until you reach the entrance at the coordinates 9.0743, -79.6598. There is no entrance fee for the park, but make sure your vehicle has enough fuel for the round trip.
Public Transportation
To reach Parque Nacional Soberanía via public transportation, take a bus from Panama City to Colón. Buses depart from Terminal de Albrook. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Las Cumbres stop. From there, you can either take a taxi or ask a local for directions to the park entrance, which is approximately 3 km away. Expect to pay around $0.75 for the bus fare and approximately $5 for the taxi ride. Make sure to check the bus schedules for the return trip.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Panama City directly to Parque Nacional Soberanía. The trip should take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic, and the cost will range from $25 to $35. Confirm the fare before starting your journey. Ensure that the taxi driver is familiar with the park's location, which is at 38FR+P38, Las Cumbres.
