Getting There

• Car

  If traveling by car, start your journey from Panama City. Take the Corredor Sur (Southern Corridor) road, heading west. Continue on this road until you reach the exit for Avenida de los Mártires. Follow the signs to the Pan-American Highway (Carretera Panamericana) and merge onto it. Continue driving for about 20 kilometers. Take the exit toward Veracruz and follow the signs leading you to Playa Veracruz. The beach is located approximately 5 kilometers from the exit, and parking is available near the beach.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  For those using public transportation, head to the Albrook Bus Terminal in Panama City. Look for buses heading toward Arraiján or La Chorrera; they frequently stop at Veracruz. The bus fare is typically around $1.50 to $2.00. The journey takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Veracruz bus stop, it’s a short walk (approximately 10-15 minutes) to Playa Veracruz. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider using a taxi or ride-sharing service like Uber. From Panama City, the fare will typically range from $20 to $30, depending on traffic conditions. The trip will take about 30 minutes. Simply provide the driver with the destination: Playa Veracruz, Provincia de Panamá Oeste.

• Combination (Car and Public Transportation)

  If you have a rental car but prefer to avoid driving into busy areas, you can park your car at the Albrook Bus Terminal and take a bus from there to Veracruz. This option allows you to enjoy the beach without the hassle of city traffic. Just follow the same steps as the public transportation bus option listed above after parking your car.
