Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey in the town of Volcán. From the main square, head east on Avenida Central towards the main road (Pan-American Highway). Merge onto the Pan-American Highway (Highway 1) heading towards David. Continue for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Cerro Punta. Take the exit for Cerro Punta. Follow the signs for Cerro Punta, which will take you to Avenida Guadalupe Sur. Continue on Avenida Guadalupe Sur for about 1 kilometer. Haras Cerro Punta will be on your right at Av. Guadalupe Sur 1-1455.
Public Transportation
To reach Haras Cerro Punta via public transportation, you can catch a bus from David to Cerro Punta. Buses leave from the David bus terminal regularly throughout the day. The fare is approximately $2.50. Once you arrive in Cerro Punta, you can take a local taxi or walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to Haras Cerro Punta located at Av. Guadalupe Sur 1-1455. Ensure you confirm the taxi fare before your ride; it should be around $3 to $5.
