Car
From Gamboa, head west on the Gamboa Road towards the Pan-American Highway (Carretera Panamericana). After about 15 minutes, merge onto the Pan-American Highway (Route 1) towards Panama City. Continue for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the exit for Vía Centenario. Take the exit and follow the signs for Vía Centenario. Merca Panamá will be on your left side after about 5 minutes of driving.

Public Transportation
To reach Merca Panamá from Gamboa using public transportation, first, take a bus from Gamboa to Albrook Terminal. Buses leave frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Albrook Terminal, transfer to a bus heading towards Panama City that stops at Vía Centenario. After about 20-30 minutes, ask the driver to let you off at Merca Panamá or look for the market signs along the road. The market is a short walk from where the bus drops you off.
