Car
From Gamboa, start by heading east on Gamboa Road (Via Gamboa). Drive for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Pan-American Highway (Ruta 1). Turn left onto the Pan-American Highway heading towards Colón. Continue driving for approximately 8 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating Soberania National Park, and turn right onto the entrance road. Follow this road for another 2 kilometers until you reach the park entrance. There may be a small entrance fee to access the park, so be prepared for that.
Public Transportation
From Gamboa, you can take a bus to the nearby town of Albrook. Head to the main bus stop in Gamboa and catch a bus that goes to Albrook. The ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Albrook bus terminal, look for a bus heading to Colón that stops near Soberania National Park. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the park entrance. The bus fare is usually around $1.50. After disembarking, you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance of the park.
Taxi
If you prefer a direct route, you can take a taxi from Gamboa to Soberania National Park. Simply ask your hotel or the local taxi service to arrange a ride. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a fare beforehand, which typically ranges between $15 to $25 for a one-way trip to the park.
