Getting There

Car
If you are driving from the center of Gamboa, start by heading southeast on Gamboa Road. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach a fork in the road. Stay to the right, and you will see signs pointing towards the Panama Rainforest Discovery Center. Continue on this road for another 2 kilometers, and you will find the entrance to the center on your left. There is usually no entry fee for the parking area.

Public Transportation
From the center of Gamboa, you can take a local bus heading towards Parque Soberanía. The bus stop is near the main square. The bus fare is approximately $0.50. Inform the driver that you are going to the Panama Rainforest Discovery Center. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, you will need to walk approximately 500 meters to the center's entrance, following the signs along the pathway.

Walking
If you are already in Gamboa and prefer to walk, head southeast on Gamboa Road. Walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the fork in the road. Take the right path and continue walking for another 2 kilometers. You will soon see the entrance to the Panama Rainforest Discovery Center on your left. The walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
