Car
If you are driving from Guna Yala, head towards the Pan-American Highway (Carretera Panamericana). Start by following the signs to Sabanitas, and then merge onto the Pan-American Highway towards Panama City. Continue on the highway until you reach the exit for Gamboa. Follow the signs to Gamboa Rainforest Reserve, which is located on Goethals Blvd in Gamboa. The total driving distance is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
Public Transportation - Bus
From Guna Yala, take a public bus to Panama City. The bus terminal in Guna Yala has regular departures to Albrook Bus Terminal in Panama City. The fare is usually around $5. Once you arrive at Albrook, you will need to transfer to a bus heading towards Gamboa. Look for buses that specifically list Gamboa as one of their stops. The fare for the bus to Gamboa should be around $1 or $2. The total travel time can take around 3 to 4 hours, including waiting time and transfers.
