Turn right onto Avenida 2 and walk for another 400 meters. You will come across the bus terminal on your left, which is a good spot to ask locals for directions. From there, you can catch a local bus heading towards La Palma. The bus will take you along the scenic route. Make sure to pay attention to the bus signs as you may need to transfer at the main junction near the town of La Palma.
