If you are starting from the town of San Félix, drive east on the Pan-American Highway (Interamericana) towards the town of Volcán. After approximately 30 kilometers, turn right onto the road that leads to Cerro Corotu. Continue on this road for another 10 kilometers until you reach Hato Corotú. Look for signs indicating the direction to Cerro Corotu. Parking is limited, so proceed with caution.

From the town of David, take a bus headed to San Félix. The journey will take about 1 hour and cost approximately $1. Once you arrive in San Félix, look for a local bus or a shared taxi (known as a 'colectivo') heading towards Hato Corotú. The fare for the colectivo is about $2, and it will take around 30 minutes to reach Hato Corotú. Inform the driver that you are going to Cerro Corotu, and they will drop you off at the nearest point.
