Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest city, which could be either Panama City or a location in the Pacific Coast region. From Panama City, head west on the Pan-American Highway (Interamericana) for approximately 50 km (about 1 hour). Look for the exit towards Veracruz, which is well-marked. After exiting, you will drive on local roads through the town of Veracruz until you reach the beach area. Parking is available near the beach, but be prepared to pay a small fee for parking, around $2.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  For those opting for public transportation, you can take a bus from Albrook Bus Terminal in Panama City. Look for buses heading to Chame or Coronado, as they usually stop in Veracruz. The bus ride takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, and you should expect to pay around $3 to $5 for the fare. Inform the bus driver you are going to Veracruz so they can drop you off at the right stop. Once you get off, it’s a short walk to the beach.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  If you prefer a more direct route without the hassle of public transportation, consider using a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber from Panama City. The trip will take approximately 1 hour, and the fare will be around $50 to $70, depending on traffic and the exact pickup location. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
