Getting There

• Metro

  If you are near the Albrook area, take the Metro Line 1 (Red Line) towards Los Andes. Ride the metro until you reach the '5 de Mayo' station. Once you exit the station, walk straight towards the Avenida Central until you reach the intersection with Vía España. Turn left onto Vía España and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will find various shops, restaurants, and local attractions along the way.

• Bus

  From the Cinta Costera, look for the bus stops along Avenida Balboa. Take any bus heading towards 'Vía España' or 'El Cangrejo'. After about 15-20 minutes, get off at the stop closest to Vía España. Once you get off, you can walk along Vía España, which is a vibrant area with shops and eateries. Look for landmarks such as the Hotel El Panama to help guide you.

• Walking

  If you are near the Casco Viejo area, you can walk to Vía España. Start by heading towards Avenida Balboa and then walk straight until you reach 'Calle 3ra'. Turn left onto 'Calle 3ra' and continue walking until you reach 'Calle 50'. From there, take a right turn to join Vía España. It should take around 30 minutes to reach Vía España, which is filled with local life and culture.

• Taxi

  You can easily find a taxi anywhere in Panama City. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Vía España'. Make sure to clarify which part of Vía España you want to visit, as it stretches quite a bit. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure that the taxi driver uses the meter or agree on a fare before starting your journey.
