Ferries operate multiple times a day, and the ticket costs approximately $20. Once you arrive at Almirante, drive to the town of Bocas del Toro. The drive takes about 30 minutes. In Bocas del Toro, you will need to park your car, as the next leg of the journey requires a boat. From the Bocas del Toro dock, take a water taxi to Parque Nacional Isla Bastimentos. The boat ride will take around 15-20 minutes and costs about $10.

Public Transportation
To reach Parque Nacional Isla Bastimentos using public transportation, first, make your way to the main ferry terminal on Isla Contadora. Then, take a ferry to Almirante, which costs around $20. Upon arriving at Almirante, you can catch a local bus to Bocas del Toro, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Once in Bocas del Toro, you can find a water taxi at the dock. The taxi will take you directly to Parque Nacional Isla Bastimentos, and the fare is about $10. Make sure to check the schedule for the last water taxi back to Bocas del Toro, as service may be limited in the evening.
