Follow the path along the coast for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you arrive at the entrance of the Castillo de San Lorenzo.

    If you have rented a bicycle, start at the main square in Portobelo. Head east along Avenida Central, cycling for about 1 kilometer until you reach Calle 1. Turn left onto Calle 1 and continue cycling straight for another 500 meters to the waterfront. Once at the waterfront, look for the signs directing you to Castillo de San Lorenzo. The path along the coast is suitable for cycling; it’s approximately a 1.5-kilometer ride to the castle.
