Getting there

Car

From the center of Veraguas, head northeast on Avenida Central towards Calle 1. Continue on the Pan-American Highway (Route 1) for about 45 km until you reach the junction at Santiago. Take the exit towards Santiago and follow the signs for Santa Fe. After about 30 km, you'll arrive at Santa Fe town. The entrance to Parque Nacional Santa Fe is located just outside of the town. Be prepared for a dirt road to reach the park entrance, which may require a 4x4 vehicle depending on weather conditions.

Public Transportation

From the main bus terminal in Veraguas, take a bus heading to Santiago. The bus ride should take around 1 hour. Once in Santiago, look for a bus or a shared taxi (colectivo) that goes to Santa Fe. This leg of the journey may take an additional 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Santa Fe, the entrance to Parque Nacional Santa Fe is a short taxi ride away or approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the town center.

Taxi or Ride-Sharing

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from any location in Veraguas. Ensure you negotiate the fare beforehand. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of Parque Nacional Santa Fe. Expect to pay around $40-$60 for a one-way trip, depending on the starting point and the negotiation.
