Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Volcan, head west on Avenida 2 towards the intersection with Calle 6. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the T-junction with Avenida 1. Turn left onto Avenida 1 and walk for approximately 2 kilometers. Keep an eye out for local signs indicating direction to Boquete. Once you reach the main road to Boquete, take a right. Continue along this road for another 3 kilometers. You will see signs for Ecoparque Cerro la Cruz on your left. Follow the signs into the park.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi from any point in Volcan. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Ecoparque Cerro la Cruz' in Bajo Boquete. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure you have the address written down: Hacia los Naranjos 5-45, Bajo Boquete, Provincia de Chiriquí, to show the driver if needed.

• Public Transport

  You can catch a bus from the terminal in Volcan to Boquete. Look for the bus labeled 'Boquete' and board. The fare is usually around $1. The bus will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Boquete, ask the driver to drop you off near the 'Ecoparque Cerro la Cruz' turn-off. From there, it’s a short walk down the road to the park entrance.
