  • Car

    To reach Neon Plateau from Kokoda Track, start your journey by driving towards the town of Kokoda. From Kokoda, head south on the Kokoda Highway (also known as the Owen Stanley Range Road) towards the town of Manari. Continue on the highway for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction for Kosipe. Turn left onto the road leading to Kosipe. Follow this road for about 15 km, which will take you through beautiful landscapes and local villages. As you drive, keep an eye out for road signs indicating the direction to Kosipe. Once you arrive in Kosipe, look for local signage or ask residents for directions to Neon Plateau, which is approximately 5 km from the center of Kosipe. Please note that road conditions may vary, and it's advisable to drive a 4WD vehicle for better access.

    If you prefer to use public transportation, first, take a bus from Port Moresby to Kokoda. Buses leave regularly from the main bus terminal and the journey takes around 6-8 hours, costing approximately PGK 50-100.
