Car
If you are driving from Madang town, head west on the Highlands Highway (also known as the Madang-Kundiawa Road). Continue on this road for about 4 hours until you reach the Kundiawa area in Chimbu Province. Once you arrive in Kundiawa, look for local signs directing you to Mandime. The residence and grave are located in Mandime, so follow the signs or ask locals for directions. Please note that fuel stations can be sparse on this route, so ensure your vehicle has enough fuel before you depart.

Start your journey by taking a bus or a minivan from Madang to Kundiawa. These can be found at the main bus terminal in Madang. The trip typically takes around 4 to 5 hours, depending on road conditions. Once in Kundiawa, you can catch a local taxi or another minivan heading to Mandime. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination, as they may not have a specific route. The fare for the bus from Madang to Kundiawa is approximately PGK 50, and the local transport to Mandime may cost around PGK 20.
