Getting There

  • Car

    If you are travelling by car, start your journey from the nearest town, Goroka, which is about 90 kilometers away from Mt Wilhelm. Follow the Highlands Highway (also known as the H5) towards the Madang Province. As you approach the vicinity of Mt Wilhelm, look for signs directing you to the village of Keglsugl, which is the closest access point to the mountain. Once in Keglsugl, follow the local roads leading towards the mountain base. Note that the roads can be rough and may require a 4WD vehicle.
