If you are starting from Madang Town, head towards the Madang Resort Hotel. From the hotel, walk towards the main road (Kokopo Road). Continue along this road until you reach the Madang Airport junction. At the junction, take a left onto the road leading towards Amele. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers. Look for signs leading to Ohu Village. The Larry Butterfly Conservation Reserve is located in Ohu Village, just off the main road. You may need to ask locals for specific directions to the reserve as it can be a bit tucked away.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Madang. Start your journey by riding to the Madang Resort Hotel. From there, continue down Kokopo Road. When you reach the Madang Airport junction, turn left toward Amele. Pedal along this road for about 5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Ohu Village. The reserve is located in Ohu Village, so ask locals for precise directions once you are close.

From the center of Madang, locate a minibus or public transport vehicle heading towards Amele. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to go to Ohu Village. The bus will drop you off along the main road. From there, you can either walk or ask locals for directions to the Larry Butterfly Conservation Reserve, which is located just off the main road in Ohu Village.
