Walking
From the center of Madang, head towards the Madang Harbour. Walk along the coastline road, enjoying the scenic views of the sea. Continue until you reach the entrance to Madang Urban LLG. As you walk, keep an eye out for local shops and eateries where you can grab refreshments. Upon reaching the entrance of Madang Urban LLG, look for signage directing you towards parks. Sugeng Aben is located within this area. Follow the signs to your destination, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the Madang Harbour.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Madang. Start your journey from the town center and head towards the coastline road. Cycle along the waterfront, taking in the beautiful views. When you reach the Madang Urban LLG entrance, you should see signage for parks. Follow the signs to Sugeng Aben, which is a short ride away. The entire trip from the town center to Sugeng Aben will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the central bus station in Madang, take any local bus that is heading towards the Madang Urban LLG area. Ensure to inform the driver of your destination, or ask fellow passengers for assistance. The bus ride should take around 10-15 minutes. Get off at the closest stop to the Madang Urban LLG entrance. From there, it’s a short walk to Sugeng Aben; just follow the signs towards the parks within the LLG area.
