Walking
Start at the Madang town center, specifically at the Madang Market. From the market, head east on Modilon Road. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by various local shops and eateries. As you walk, keep an eye out for local signs that may indicate the direction to PLP Park. The park is located on the left side of Modilon Road, identifiable by its entrance which may feature local flora and a park sign. If you reach the intersection with the Madang Seaside, you've gone too far.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start your journey from the Madang Market. Head east on Modilon Road, which has a bike-friendly path. It's about a 1.5-kilometer ride. As you cycle along, you will see local shops and the beautiful scenery of Madang. Keep your eyes peeled for the entrance to PLP Park on the left side of Modilon Road. The park is recognized by its lush greenery and may have a sign at the entrance. Make sure to watch for pedestrians and other cyclists along the road.
Public Transport
From the Madang Market, look for local buses or minibuses that travel along Modilon Road. Board a bus heading towards the outskirts of town. Inform the driver that you want to get off at PLP Park or watch for local landmarks to signal your stop. The park is situated on Modilon Road, and it should be a short ride of about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Once you disembark, walk back a short distance towards the park entrance on your left.
