From Mount Wilhelm, head south on the main road towards Goroka. As you drive, be prepared for a scenic journey, passing through lush landscapes. After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, you will reach the town of Goroka. Continue through Goroka and follow signs towards the Highlands Highway. After about 30 minutes on the Highlands Highway, look for a sign indicating Kugeto. Turn off the highway and follow the road signs for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the vicinity of Kuru Mountain, located at coordinates HGJ3+JC.

From Mount Wilhelm, locate the nearest bus station where you can catch a bus heading towards Goroka. The bus ride will take about 2 hours and will cost approximately 20-30 PGK.
