If you are traveling by car from Mount Wilhelm, start by heading south from the town of Kundiawa. Follow the Highlands Highway (A1) towards Goroka. After approximately 25 kilometers, look for the signs directing you towards Bukapena. Turn left onto the road that leads into Bukapena. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the coordinates 64RG+JVP, Bukapena in Western Highlands Province. There should be signage indicating Pokgta Rock Spring along the way. Parking may be available near the site.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a PMV (Public Motor Vehicle) from Kundiawa towards Goroka. Make sure to inform the driver you want to stop near Bukapena. Once you reach Bukapena, you will likely need to ask locals for directions to Pokgta Rock Spring at 64RG+JVP, as it may not be well marked. You can walk or hire a local guide to assist you in reaching the spring, which is about 15 kilometers from the main road.
