Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to Salto Suizo, start from the main entrance of Cerro Cora National Park. Follow the park's main road, which is well-marked. Continue straight for about 15 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn right onto C. Bruno Boeni. Continue on this road for approximately 5 kilometers. Salto Suizo will be on your left, and there is a parking area available. Be sure to have local currency for any entrance fees to the park.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Salto Suizo via public transportation, you can take a bus from Asunción to the nearest town, which is Independencia. Once you arrive in Independencia, look for local transport options such as mototaxis or shared taxis that can take you to the entrance of Cerro Cora National Park. From the park entrance, you will need to walk or hire a local guide to reach Salto Suizo, as public transportation does not directly service this area.

• Walking

  If you are already within Cerro Cora National Park and wish to walk to Salto Suizo, start at the main trailhead near the visitor center. Follow the marked trails that lead towards the waterfall. The hike will take approximately 1-2 hours, depending on your pace. Ensure you have adequate water and wear comfortable walking shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
