From the center of Hernandarias, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the bus heading towards Ciudad del Este. Inform the driver you want to get off at the Parque das Aves stop. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs to Parque das Aves, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you enjoy walking and are up for an adventure, you can make your way to Parque das Aves on foot. From the center of Hernandarias, head towards the border with Brazil. After crossing the bridge, continue straight on Av. das Cataratas. It is approximately 7 km, which will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and keep hydrated.
