Start from the center of Hernandarias, at the Plaza de Hernandarias, which is a central landmark. From the plaza, head south on Avenida Fernando de la Mora. Walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Acceso Itaipú. Turn left onto Acceso Itaipú and continue walking for about 2 km. The Itaipu Tierra Guaraní Museum will be on your right. You can recognize it by its distinct architecture and signage.
