If you are in the central area of Hernandarias, start at the Plaza de Hernandarias. From the plaza, head south on Avenida General Bernardino Caballero. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit at the roundabout, which is Avenida Itaipú. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers. You will see signs directing you towards the Itaipú Dam. Keep walking straight, and the entrance to the dam will be on your left.
