If you're traveling by car, head towards Areguá from Asunción. Take the Ruta 1 (Transchaco) highway, heading southeast. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit toward Areguá (Ruta 2). Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach Areguá. Once in Areguá, follow the signs to Playa De Aregua, which is located near the waterfront area at Areguá 8000. There is usually free parking available.

For those using public transportation, start from Asunción. Head to the Terminal de Ómnibus de Asunción and look for buses heading to Areguá, which are frequent. The ticket costs around 5,000 to 10,000 PYG (Paraguayan Guarani). The bus ride takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Areguá, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Playa De Aregua, which is about 2 kilometers from the bus station. Expect to pay around 10,000 PYG for a taxi.
