After approximately 12 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork, which leads to Paso Pindo. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you see the sign for Salto Mbocaruzú. The waterfall is located a short distance off the main road, and you may need to park your vehicle at a designated area and walk the last few hundred meters to the viewing area.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Asunción to the city of Ybycui. Once you arrive in Ybycui, look for local transport options to reach Paso Pindo. There are usually shared taxis or small buses that operate in this area. Inform the driver that you want to go to Salto Mbocaruzú. The cost for the bus from Asunción to Ybycui is around 20,000 PYG (approximately USD 3), and the local transport to the waterfall may cost an additional 5,000 PYG.
