Car
If you are traveling by car within Ybycui National Park, start from the main entrance of the park. Drive along the main road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left fork and continue for another 2 kilometers. You will come across a signpost indicating Salto Mbocaruzu II. Follow the dirt road for approximately 1 kilometer, and you will reach the parking area close to the waterfall. Please note that the road may be bumpy, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus from Asunción to the nearest town, Ybycui. From Ybycui, you will need to hire a taxi or a local guide to take you to Salto Mbocaruzu II, as there are no public buses that go directly to the waterfall. The taxi fare from Ybycui to Salto Mbocaruzu II should be negotiated beforehand, but expect to pay around 50,000 to 80,000 PYG. The trip will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

For those already within the park and wanting to hike, after reaching the parking area, you can follow the marked trail leading to Salto Mbocaruzu II. The hike is about 1 kilometer and should take around 20-30 minutes. The trail is moderately challenging with some steep sections, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for a bit of a climb.
