    From the center of Ypacarai, head south towards Avenida 1° de Marzo. Turn left onto Avenida 1° de Marzo and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Ruta 2. Cross Ruta 2 and continue straight to Avenida Carlos Antonio López. Follow this road for approximately 12 kilometers. You will enter Asunción. As you approach the city center, look for signs directing you to the Catedral Metropolitana de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción. The cathedral will be located on your left at P998+CW4. The entire journey should take about 2.5 to 3 hours on foot.

    From Ypacarai, head to the main bus station located near the center of town. Look for a bus heading to Asunción; buses to the capital depart frequently. Make sure to confirm that the bus stops at the city center. The journey to Asunción usually takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
