Getting There

  • Bus

    From Allentown, head to the Allentown Transportation Center located at 3250 Airport Rd, Allentown, PA 18109. Take the LANTA Route 325 bus towards 'Schnecksville'. The bus ride will take approximately 25-30 minutes. Disembark at the stop nearest to Game Preserve Road. Once you get off, walk north on Game Preserve Road for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of Lehigh Valley Zoo at 5150 Game Preserve Rd, Schnecksville, PA 18078.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to bike, start at the center of Allentown. Head north on 7th St, then turn left onto Tilghman St. Continue straight to Lehigh St, following it until you reach the intersection with Game Preserve Rd. Turn right onto Game Preserve Rd and follow it for about 4 miles. The zoo entrance will be on your left. The total ride is approximately 6 miles and should take around 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.

    If you're feeling adventurous and up for a longer walk, from downtown Allentown, walk north on 7th St towards Hamilton St. Continue straight until you reach Lehigh St, then turn left. Follow Lehigh St until you reach the intersection with Game Preserve Rd, then turn right. Continue on Game Preserve Rd for about 3.5 miles, and you will arrive at Lehigh Valley Zoo at 5150 Game Preserve Rd, Schnecksville, PA 18078. This walk is approximately 4 miles and may take around 1.5 hours.
