For those using public transportation, take a Greyhound or Megabus to Harrisburg, PA. From Harrisburg, you can use the Capital Area Transit (CAT) bus service to reach Duncannon. Route 5 (Duncannon) will take you directly to Duncannon. Once you arrive at Duncannon, you will need to walk to the Appalachian National Scenic Trail trailhead, which is about a 1-mile walk from the bus stop.
