If you are driving to Mount Nittany, start by heading towards College Township, PA 16827. From the center of State College, take E College Ave (US-322) east. Continue for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with N. Atherton St (PA-45). Turn right onto N. Atherton St and continue for 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Mount Nittany Rd, which is marked with signs for the Mount Nittany trailhead. Follow this road to the parking area at the trailhead, where you can park your car. Note that there may be a parking fee during peak seasons, typically around $5.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from State College. Look for the CATA bus service, specifically the Route 1 or Route 6, which will take you towards the Mount Nittany area. Disembark at the closest stop to Mount Nittany Road. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 mile to reach the trailhead. Hiking
