Car
From Bald Eagle State Park, head southeast on PA-150 S towards Lock Haven. Continue on PA-150 S for approximately 22 miles until you reach the junction with I-80 E. Merge onto I-80 E and travel for about 8 miles. Take exit 178 for PA-64 S toward Mill Hall/Lewisburg. Continue on PA-64 S for about 20 miles. Merge onto US-222 S and follow for about 18 miles. Take the exit for PA-23 S towards Elverson and continue onto Park Rd. Follow Park Rd to reach French Creek State Park at 843 Park Rd, Elverson, PA 19520. Expect to pay tolls on certain highways if applicable.
Public Transportation
Using public transportation from Bald Eagle State Park, you will first need to take a local bus or taxi service to the nearest train station. Check the local bus schedules for routes to the Lock Haven or Bellefonte train stations. Once at the train station, take the Amtrak or another regional service to the nearest stop to Elverson (potentially Lancaster). From Lancaster, take a local bus service or taxi to Elverson. The total journey can take several hours, and costs will vary based on bus and train fares.
