Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Mifflinburg, PA. From Interstate 80, take Exit 210 for US-15 South towards Lewisburg. Continue on US-15 South for about 10 miles. Take the PA-45 exit towards Mifflinburg, and merge onto PA-45 East. After approximately 5 miles, turn right onto Buffalo Road. Sand Bridge State Park will be located at 13180 Buffalo Rd, Mifflinburg, PA 17844. There is no entrance fee for the park.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or local bus service to Lewisburg, PA. From Lewisburg, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Sand Bridge State Park, as public transport does not directly serve the park. The taxi ride from Lewisburg to the park is approximately 10 miles and may cost around $15-$25, depending on the service.

• Biking

  If you are an adventurous biker, consider cycling to Sand Bridge State Park. You can start from Lewisburg and take the scenic route along PA-45. Make sure to wear a helmet and be aware of traffic. The ride is about 10 miles and can take around 1-1.5 hours depending on your cycling speed. Always check the weather and road conditions before you set out.

• Walking/Hiking

  If you're already in Mifflinburg and looking for a walking adventure, you can walk to the park from the center of town. It's approximately a 3-mile walk along Buffalo Road. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as there are no facilities along the route. The walk should take about 1 hour.
