If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto I-95 S from any location in Delaware Valley. Follow I-95 S for about 11 miles. Take exit 12 for PA-291 E toward Tinicum. Continue on PA-291 E for about 2.5 miles, then turn left onto Lindbergh Blvd. After about 0.5 miles, John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum will be on your right at 8601 Lindbergh Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19153. Parking is available on-site.

To reach John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge using public transportation, start by taking the SEPTA Regional Rail from your nearest station to the airport area, such as the Airport Line. Get off at the Eastwick Station. From there, you can transfer to the 37 Bus (heading towards the Airport) and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at the Lindbergh Blvd & Tinicum Blvd stop. Walk approximately 0.3 miles north on Lindbergh Blvd to reach the refuge entrance at 8601 Lindbergh Blvd. Be sure to check the latest schedules for the SEPTA services, as they may vary.
