Car
If you're driving from the main visitor areas in Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, start by heading north on PA-611 N for approximately 7 miles. Merge onto I-80 W and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 273 toward PA-940 W and follow PA-940 W for around 4 miles. Then, turn right onto S Lehigh Gorge Dr. Continue driving for about 2 miles until you reach Lehigh Gorge State Park, which will be on your left. There is no entrance fee to access the park.

To reach Lehigh Gorge State Park via public transportation, you can take a bus from the Delaware Water Gap area to Weatherly, PA. The Luzerne County Transportation Authority offers bus services that connect to Weatherly. Once you arrive in Weatherly, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service, as there may not be direct public transport options to the park itself. The distance from Weatherly to the park is approximately 5 miles. Expect to pay around $15-$20 for the taxi fare, depending on the service.
