    Start at the Erie Downtown area. Head east on State Street toward East 5th Street. Continue straight onto East 5th Street until you reach the waterfront. From there, follow the walking path along the lakefront. You will pass by the Erie Maritime Museum and the Bicentennial Tower. Keep following the path until you reach Presque Isle State Park. Once inside the park, head towards the entrance at 301 Peninsula Drive. The lighthouse is located a short hike from the entrance towards the peninsula.

    From downtown Erie, take the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority (EMTA) bus route 3 or 4 towards Presque Isle State Park. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop on State Street. The bus will take you directly to the park entrance. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to reach the Presque Isle Lighthouse, heading towards the peninsula. Follow the signs within the park to guide you to the lighthouse.
