Walking
If you are starting from the Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor Center, exit the center and head west on Taneytown Road (Route 134) for about a quarter of a mile. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with W Confederate Ave. Turn left onto W Confederate Ave, and the North Carolina Memorial will be located on your right after approximately half a mile. Look for the distinctive statue and inscriptions honoring the North Carolina soldiers.
Public Transportation (Shuttle)
You can catch the Gettysburg National Military Park shuttle from various stops around Gettysburg. Board the shuttle at the Visitor Center and ensure it is heading towards the monuments. Request to be dropped off at the North Carolina Memorial stop, which is marked on the shuttle route. Once you disembark, the memorial will be within walking distance, just a short stroll away.
Biking
If you have rented a bike, start from the Gettysburg Visitor Center. Ride west along Taneytown Road (Route 134) for about 0.25 miles. After reaching the intersection with W Confederate Ave, turn left. Continue riding on W Confederate Ave for about half a mile. The North Carolina Memorial will be on your right. There are bike racks available for you to secure your bike while you explore the memorial.
